I learned that back in 1971 the United States government set an official day to be celebrated honoring two presidents born in February, President Washington and President Lincoln. Before this day was set many people honored President Lincoln on his birthday which is February 12 and then honored President Washington on his birthday which is February 22.
Well down at UFS we celebrate President Washington and President Lincoln as well as all other presidents who have held office.
